Cari Cari live 2026: with heart and style
Cari Cari present their latest studio album. »One More Trip Around The Sun« is a tribute to getting older, a declaration of love to family and friends and a promise to remain true to oneself and one\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s own values.
Against the tide
Despite the upcoming world tour and international praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, which described Cari Cari as »the biggest discovery of Primavera Sound Barcelona«, the duo remains completely independent – without a record deal, management or publisher. Instead, Cari Cari focuses on genuine DIY: album covers, merchandise and stage design are designed by drummer and singer Stephanie Widmer, the music is recorded in their own studio and even the online shop is a family project, run by Stephanie\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mum, who sends the orders from her grandparents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' garage.
Music with heart and soul
Their third studio album is Cari Cari\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s way of saying »no«: no to major label structures and to a system that forgets the people behind the art. The duo is constantly campaigning for fair pay in the cultural sector. Even Cari Cari\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s unmistakable sound is a clear statement against short-lived trends. The use of jew\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s harp and didgeridoo remains characteristic. The unique sound collages are familiar, but even more complex and precise than ever before. Look forward to this musical »Trip Around the Sun«!
